and post something non-Dresden (though it is related to the series about that other wizard named Harry). Forgive me!
You may or may not be aware of the Tournament of Heroines going on at the YA Sisterhood blog. Basically, two heroines from YA novels go head-to-head each week, and everyone votes on who will advance to the next round. This time, Hermione Granger is facing Clary Fray (from The Mortal Instruments series)… and, frankly, she’s getting completely whipped. Clary has over 70% of the vote, and the comments on the thread are cringe-worthy.
As a Harry Potter fan and an admirer of Hermione (she’s been a role model to me for many years), I’m asking all of you to please vote for Hermione and ask your friends to do the same.
