My final illustration for the semester~ Our assignment was to choose a villain from a book and illustrate him/her/it in our own view.
My choice was Nicodemus from the Dresden Files, book #5 Death Masks.
He’s part of a group called the Fallen or the Black Denarius, people who have taken up cooperation with fallen angels. Nicodemus’ demon allows his shadow to move on its own accord and actually become solid matter in some instances. He also is pretty much invulnerable.

Okay drawing Dresden in his dorky jacket is not all that exciting. It’s not like he owns much else.
‘So we’ve got a witch on our hands and no clue where to start as far as finding out who it is and who they’re going to target next,’ Sam said as he flipped through another book.
‘We’ve done more with less…’ Dean said shrugging and pulled the phone book closer to him, ‘I’m going to order pizza.’
Sam sent a grunt Dean’s way and got immersed in the book he was reading through and Dean shook his head opening the phone book to a random page. He blinked at it for a few moments before, ‘Sammy…’
‘Dean I don’t care if you’ve got enough money we aren’t getting escorts…’
‘No… look at this,’ he shoved the phone book under Sam’s nose.
‘Dean you can’t think this is something to take seriously…’
‘We don’t have anywhere else to start. And it’ll be worth a laugh anyway…’ Dean said standing up and getting his leather jacket. Sam let out an exasperated sigh and stood as well, sure they were wasting precious time.
